CEO

Paul has over 20 years’ executive and entrepreneurial experience in high-growth energy and manufacturing businesses. Prior to Endua he was Chief Product Officer and a Founder at Tritium, a global technology company that designs and manufacturers recharging stations for electric vehicles. Paul oversaw the growth of Tritium from a small power electronics start-up to a global manufacturing organisation operating across three continents and with customers in over 40 countries. His customers included some of the largest global energy companies, automotive manufacturers and government agencies. Paul is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering as well as an Honours degree in Computer Systems Engineering and Computer Science.

Chief Scientist

Dr Giddey is a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO and leads the Thermal and Electrochemical Technologies Group. He has over 25 years R&D experience in hydrogen related technologies and has played a key role in the development of CSIRO’s electrolyser and fuel cell technologies, including the establishment of the Centre for Hybrid Energy Systems (CHES) in Melbourne. Dr Giddey has a strong interest in the development of technologies for decarbonisation of the fossil fuel-based industry, transport, and power generation sectors. He has led several multi-million dollar industrially focussed projects related to renewable hydrogen and ammonia. He sits on the Standards Australia committee for the adaptation of standards in the hydrogen and fuel cell area and has authored over 65 publications and several patents in this area.

Mike is a partner at Main Sequence helping startups, researchers and entrepreneurs in Australia generate early customer leads and opportunities. He leads Health and Decarb challenges and helps drive investments into semiconductors, renewable energy, and other technologies. Passionate about sales and marketing, Mike manages sales, marketing, and hardware events to help portfolio founders scale their businesses. He also acts as a board member, mentor, and trusted advisor for multiple startup and deep tech firms, guiding them in sales, business development, and venture capital. Before joining Main Sequence, he served as the director of invention development at Intellectual Ventures, leading teams to bring innovative concepts to market. Mike's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in founding companies such as Visimagic Inc., Searchcorp, Nicholls-Price, and serving as CEO at Enikos and Dtecht Pty Ltd.

Chris is currently the Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Development at Ampol. He brings over 20 years experience of strategy, M&A, finance and operational execution, with the last 5 years in Ampol’s strategy team. Having started his career at Deloitte, Chris spent over a decade in investment banking at CIBC, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley before joining a pre-revenue software company and then Ampol. He has built deep experience at structuring capital raisings, investments, acquisitions and divestments as well as setting and executing on a growth agenda in both private and public markets.
